THE PADDLE
By rotating the mechanical paddle placed on the brew group, the water flow in the brew group can be regulated and the brewing pressure optimally controlled at each phase of the extraction. By adjusting the brewing pressure, you can brew the best espresso from any coffee.
Individually removable water tank makes flexible
The water tank of the BIANCA is attached externally to prevent the water from heating up and thus to keep the water quality high. The tank can either be behind the machine. When used in fixed water mode, the tank can also be completely removed, saving a lot of space. The original Lelit filter can also ensure lime-free water in the tank.

With the individual brewing curve setting (pressure profile), you can think of any number of ways to brew your coffee. Whether with pre-infusion, in which the ground coffee is softened and made to swell for a short time, or with a brewing curve that you flatten out after 15 seconds to avoid over-extraction - you have all the options. You can conjure up countless variations from one and the same coffee. Whether typically Italian or trendy fruity.
LCC display with many setting options
You can make many settings on the optically very attractive and discreet LCC display. In addition to the PID control, you can fix and change pre-infusion time intervals or set the stand-by times. In the standby function, the machine reduces the temperature in the boiler to 70°C and keeps the cups warm. This temperature maintenance allows you to work in full operating mode again in a short 10 minutes.
2 boilers with 1400 watts each
Lelit designed it in such a way that the two heaters, each with 1400 watts, do not run in parallel, but only one electronically controlled. This extends the heating-up time a little, but protects your maximum current load at home. For some old buildings, etc., it may be important to know that the machine only draws a maximum of 1400 watts.

With the grind-on-demand function, the coffee powder is ground as freshly as possible with each reference. This allows you to enjoy the fresh coffee aroma to the full every time. In addition, the grinder with its slow and powerful revolutions remains sufficiently cool. This is particularly gentle on the ground coffee, since the heat generated could degrade the quality of the coffee powder that is still fresh. Outstanding precision. In the tests with a LIBRA, we were only able to determine a deviation of 0.1-0.2 grams. This is very little and therefore a top value. The dead space of the mill is very small.
The patented 4-point suspension of the grinder enables the degree of grinding to be continuously adjusted using the small rotary knob on the housing. The Eureka Mignon Libra is easy to clean thanks to the innovative and at the same time robust grinder and foreign objects can be removed very easily.
